A bit of an introduction is in order....

I am a 30-something attorney with one child, let's call her "Daughter".  Apparently, Daughter hates sleep and I find myself spending many a nights in a rocking chair just pondering the things around me.  These aren't groundbreaking thoughts, mind you.    If you have come for in-depth political musings or warm fuzzy stories on parenting then you have found the wrong place....please continue your google search.  This blog is more in line with google searches that include the following terms: cat videos, is wine ice-cream a thing, where can I buy wine ice-cream, how much is too much coffee/sugar/wine, can you die from lack of sleep, how long until you die from lack of sleep, etc.  These are the things that my potential readers (all 3 of you) might enjoy browsing on the internet.   So if cat videos and wine ice-cream are your thing then please stay awhile. I can always use some company at 3 am when it is too early for wine....
